We all know that stripes are a staple piece but when I saw this 70s inspired striped tank top I was more than sold. The whole bohemian style that is on trend right now definitely gained some inspiration from the 1970s and this tank top makes me feel like I am bringing a little retro flare into this era. I really like that this tank top is long and not as boxy as some tops can be cut (definitely a plus for my long frame). Long and narrow tops are a lot more flattering on us tall people!
Patchwork jeans are definitely going to be a hit this fall. I SCORED when I found these on the sale rack. I have been looking for a pair of patchwork jeans for a while now and somehow this pair was magically long enough and I got them for a great deal! Patchwork jeans add a funky vibe to your outfit even though they are still plain old blue jeans. When paired with a simple top you can look put together with minimal effort! I have wanted to wear these jeans to work every day but I had to stop myself, that is how great they are.
Finally, these Anne Klein heels are also one of my new wardrobe favorites. Block heels have become quite popular this year but what I love about this pair is that the heel is minimal which gives you just a little height but dresses up your outfit a bit if you want to look put together for work or a dinner on the town. These shoes are unbelievably comfortable and I will need to put a limit on how many times I wear these a week as well!
Last, but not least, I want to give a shoutout to my good friend Melissa for taking these awesome pictures of me over our lunch break! She is so talented with a camera and does amazing work! Check out her website www.melissascharfphotography.com if you ever need a photographer in the twin cities! She does amazing work!
